Role overview
As the Procurement Lead, you will own the end-to-end purchasing cycle—from supplier discovery through PO issuance and receipt verification—while driving cost, quality, and delivery performance.

What you'll do

Research and vet reliable suppliers to match organizational needs.

Assess suppliers against quality, cost, and delivery reliability; provide feedback and follow-up.

Negotiate contracts and pricing to secure favorable terms.

Work closely with internal teams to clarify purchasing requirements.

Forecast demand for goods and services and convert it into actionable procurement plans.

Track inventory to prevent overstock and shortages.

Study market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Gather and compare vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.

Align and optimize purchasing budgets with organizational objectives.

Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery progress.

Ensure received goods/services meet specified quantity and quality.

Resolve delays, defective products, and incorrect shipments.

Maintain complete records of purchases, contracts, and supplier interactions.

Uphold compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry standards.
What you'll bring

Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or related field (required).

Professional certifications like CIPP or CIPM (preferred).

Five years of purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills; proficiency with procurement software; knowledge of supply chain principles and market trends.

Reliability in meeting deadlines.

Outstanding organizational and planning abilities.

Ability to communicate effectively with operators, supervisors, and all levels of management.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
