This is a hands-on operations role in a startup environment.
Not everything is fully built yet. Processes will evolve and priorities will shift.
If you prefer highly structured roles with clearly defined responsibilities, this is not the right fit.
What You’ll Own
You will own purchasing and logistics execution end-to-end.
If materials are late, missing, or incorrect—or if shipments are delayed—this role is responsible for identifying the issue and driving it to resolution.
Your responsibility is to ensure everything needed for production and customer shipments is purchased, delivered, and moved on time and in full.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- Purchasing all materials (ingredients, packaging, and supplies)
- Placing and tracking purchase orders
- Communicating with vendors on pricing, availability, and delivery timing
- Following up consistently until issues are fully resolved
- Scheduling inbound deliveries to our 3PL and facility
- Booking outbound freight and coordinating shipments to customers
- Tracking shipments and resolving delays or issues
- Coordinating with our 3PL on inventory movement and transfer timing
You are responsible for ensuring materials and shipments are accurate, on time, and aligned with operational needs—not just coordinating the process.
What This Role Is Like
- Primarily office-based, with occasional hands-on support (~20% of time)
- Fast-paced with multiple priorities at once
- Requires constant communication and follow-up
- You will be expected to take ownership and resolve issues without being asked
What Success Looks Like
- Materials are available when needed—no last-minute shortages
- Shipments go out on time and customers receive the correct product

Who This Role Is For
- You are organized, proactive, and follow through
- You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
- You are comfortable in a fast-moving environment
Who This Role Is Not For
