Responsibilities

Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.

Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.

Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs.

Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service and product delivery.

Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.

Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and budgets.

Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information.

Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.

Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.

Mentor procurement team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CIPP or CIPM are a plus.

Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.

Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
