Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team in Arab, AL. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing our procurement processes, ensuring that we acquire the best products and services at the most competitive prices. Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with company goals.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
  • Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their procurement needs.
  • Manage supplier relationships to ensure high-quality service and product delivery.
  • Conduct regular audits of procurement processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.
  • Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
  • Prepare and maintain purchasing reports and budgets.
  • Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, contracts, and vendor information.
  • Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry developments, and regulatory requirements to inform procurement decisions.
  • Mentor procurement team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIPP or CIPM are a plus.
  • Proven experience in procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a managerial role.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Familiarity with procurement software and tools.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to communicate well with operators, supervisors, and all levels of management.
