Procurement Manager – Bangalore

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Procurement Manager with 4–6 years of experience in sourcing and vendor management within manufacturing or warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement of raw materials, consumables, and other essential items at competitive prices while maintaining high quality standards. This role plays a key part in supporting smooth production and warehouse operations through efficient procurement planning and coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, packaging, and other essential supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to achieve cost-effective and quality-compliant procurement.
• Monitor and maintain optimum stock levels to prevent shortages or excess inventory.
• Coordinate with production, supply chain, and accounts teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Raise, track, and follow up on purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive vendor database with updated pricing and contractual terms.
• Support cost-reduction initiatives and process improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, statutory requirements, and audit processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of procurement experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, vendor management, and basic contract negotiation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP systems for purchase tracking and reporting.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
