Role Overview
The Sourcing / Procurement Manager will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers, negotiating cost-effective deals, ensuring timely procurement of materials, and maintaining optimum inventory levels. This role demands strong market research skills, vendor management abilities, and a keen eye for quality and cost optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Scouting & Research
- Identify and research new products as per business requirements.
- Search, evaluate, and shortlist new vendors through online and offline channels.
- Vendor Management
- Conduct price negotiations, finalize orders, and secure favorable terms.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure long-term business continuity.
- Procurement & Inventory
- Perform regular inventory checks and ensure timely re-ordering of materials.
- Monitor stock levels to support cost and inventory optimization.
- Quality & Delivery Assurance
- Ensure timely delivery of goods as per order terms.
- Oversee quality checks, GRN preparation, and manage material return processes for discrepancies.
- Cost Optimization & Compliance
- Continuously evaluate vendors for pricing, quality, and service efficiency.
- Work towards reducing procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Operational Support
- Coordinate with internal teams (operations, warehouse, accounts) for smooth procurement flow.
- Handle other procurement-related support tasks as required.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
- Proficiency in MS Excel and inventory tools
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Experience in sourcing (online & offline)
- Knowledge of GRN, QC, and return processes

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
