KRA – Procurement Manager (Bus Industry)1. Vendor Management & Development
- Identify, onboard, and maintain reliable vendors for:
- Spare parts (engine, tyres, batteries, electricals, body parts)
- Fuel, lubricants, and consumables
- AMC and service providers
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, credit terms, and SLAs.
- Conduct periodic vendor performance evaluation (quality, delivery, cost).
- Ensure alternate vendor availability to avoid service disruption.
2. Cost Control & Savings
- Achieve annual cost reduction targets through effective negotiation.
- Monitor market price trends for spares, fuel, and services.
- Reduce procurement costs without compromising quality.
- Control emergency purchases and spot buying.
3. Procurement Planning & Inventory Control
- Forecast procurement requirements based on:
- Fleet size
- Maintenance schedules
- Route operations
- Maintain optimum inventory levels (min–max).
- Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory.
- Coordinate with stores and maintenance teams.
4. Purchase Order & Documentation Management
- Raise, approve, and track Purchase Orders (POs).
- Ensure timely delivery of materials/services.
- Maintain proper documentation:
- POs, GRNs, invoices, delivery challans
- Ensure accuracy in billing and invoice matching.
5. Compliance & Audit
- Ensure GST compliance and correct HSN/SAC usage.
- Maintain vendor KYC, contracts, and statutory documents.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Adhere to company procurement policies.
6. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with:
- Maintenance & Operations teams
- Finance & Accounts
- Stores & Logistics
- Resolve supply-related operational issues promptly.
- Ensure uninterrupted bus operations.
7. Turnaround Time & Service Level
- Ensure timely procurement to avoid bus downtime.
- Maintain SLA adherence for critical spares.
- Reduce vehicle off-road (VOR) time due to material shortage.
8. Reporting & MIS
- Prepare and share regular MIS on:
- Procurement spend
- Savings achieved
- Vendor performance
- Inventory status
- Track KPIs and corrective actions.
9. Risk Management
- Identify supply chain risks and mitigation plans.
- Handle emergency procurement situations.
- Ensure business continuity during shortages or disruptions.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
