Task Description
1. Strategic Procurement

Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals.

Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate contracts with suppliers.

Manage long-term supplier relationships and establish strategic sourcing agreements.
2. Procurement Operations Management

Oversee day-to-day procurement activities, including requisitions, RFQs, tenders, and purchase orders.

Ensure timely procurement and delivery to meet project and operational needs.

Manage vendor prequalification and maintain an approved supplier database.
3. Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.

Mitigate supply chain risks through effective contract management and supplier evaluation.

Monitor compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in procurement.
4. Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.

Assign responsibilities, monitor performance, and provide training where necessary.

Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
5. Financial Management

Monitor procurement budgets and ensure cost efficiency.

Approve purchase orders and contracts within authorized limits.

Provide management with regular reports on procurement performance, cost savings, and supplier performance.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in
