IT Asset Management

Maintain accurate inventory of IT assets (hardware, software, licenses, cloud subscriptions).

Implement asset tracking systems (CMDB, ITAM tools).

Ensure compliance with software licensing and vendor contracts.

Coordinate with procurement and finance for IT asset acquisition and disposal.

Monitor asset utilization to optimize costs and reduce redundancies.

Support audits and risk assessments related to IT assets.

Collaborate with IT security to ensure assets meet cybersecurity standards.
Non-IT Asset Management

Manage lifecycle of non-IT assets (office equipment, furniture, vehicles, facilities).

Maintain asset registers and depreciation schedules in coordination with finance.

Oversee preventive maintenance schedules for physical assets.

Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (insurance, safety, certifications).

Coordinate with vendors for procurement, AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts), and disposal.

Track asset performance and recommend upgrades/replacements.

Support sustainability initiatives (energy efficiency, recycling, green disposal).
Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of ITAM tools (ServiceNow, Flexera, Snow, etc.).

Familiarity with ERP systems for non-IT asset tracking (SAP, Oracle, etc.).

Analytical skills for cost-benefit and lifecycle analysis.

Vendor management and negotiation expertise.

Knowledge of compliance standards (ISO 19770 for ITAM, ISO 55000 for Asset Management).
