Job Title: Procurement Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in procurement processes related to the United Nations (UN), US Embassy, and US Military contractors, Oil & Gas Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with international and US government procurement regulations, and optimizing supply chain operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Procurement Strategy & Planning
  • Develop cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce risks.
  • Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Vendor Management & Compliance
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers that meet the strict criteria of UN, US Embassy, and US Military contractors.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance assessments to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Procurement Operations & Logistics
  • Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to final delivery.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods and services.
  • Manage import/export regulations, customs clearance, and international shipping requirements.
  • Risk Management & Compliance
  • Ensure procurement operations align with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for procurement activities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Budget & Cost Control
  • Develop procurement budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
  • Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure transparency and financial accountability.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10++ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management, preferably with UN, US Embassy, Oil & Gas Industry or US Military contractors.
  • Experience with international procurement, import/export regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
