Job Title: Procurement Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong background in procurement processes related to the United Nations (UN), US Embassy, and US Military contractors, Oil & Gas Industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with international and US government procurement regulations, and optimizing supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement Strategy & Planning
- Develop cost-effective procurement strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce risks.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements.
- Vendor Management & Compliance
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers that meet the strict criteria of UN, US Embassy, and US Military contractors.
- Conduct supplier evaluations, audits, and performance assessments to ensure quality and reliability.
- Procurement Operations & Logistics
- Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from requisition to final delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely and compliant delivery of goods and services.
- Manage import/export regulations, customs clearance, and international shipping requirements.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure procurement operations align with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards, including anti-corruption and anti-bribery policies.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies for procurement activities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Budget & Cost Control
- Develop procurement budgets and monitor expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities through strategic sourcing and supplier negotiations.
- Work closely with finance and accounting teams to ensure transparency and financial accountability.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 10++ years of experience in procurement, supply chain, or contract management, preferably with UN, US Embassy, Oil & Gas Industry or US Military contractors.
- Experience with international procurement, import/export regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite is preferred.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
