Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and results-oriented Procurement Manager – Aluminum & Façade Systems to join our growing team in the UAE. The role is responsible for managing the full procurement lifecycle for façade projects, including vendor sourcing, negotiation, and timely delivery of materials and subcontracted services. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in aluminum and façade systems procurement, with expertise in materials such as aluminum profiles, cladding, glazing, and associated accessories. This role requires strategic alignment of procurement activities with project timelines, budgets, and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy
- Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies for aluminum and façade systems to ensure cost-effective, timely procurement.
- Continuously assess market trends and pricing to optimize procurement plans.
Supplier Management
- Identify, qualify, and evaluate both local and international suppliers.
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships through performance monitoring, strategic partnerships, and regular communication.
Tendering & Cost Analysis
- Issue RFQs, review technical and commercial offers, and conduct comparative evaluations.
- Support cost optimization for key materials, including:
- Aluminum profiles & extrusions
- Glass (tempered, laminated, double glazing)
- Cladding systems (ACP, GRC, HPL)
- Brackets, anchors, fasteners, gaskets, sealants
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure alignment of material specifications, lead times, and site delivery schedules.
Inventory & Logistics
- Track inventory levels and ensure on-time delivery of façade materials to meet project milestones.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping for international orders in compliance with Incoterms.
Contract Management
- Negotiate payment terms, warranties, and delivery conditions with suppliers.
- Manage supplier agreements and ensure contractual compliance.
Risk & Compliance
- Identify procurement-related risks, including delays, cost overruns, or non-compliance, and implement mitigation measures.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, legal standards, and UAE regulations.
Reporting & Cost Tracking
- Monitor procurement budgets, prepare cost savings reports, and maintain up-to-date procurement records using ERP systems.
Qualifications & Requirements
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Civil/Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 10–15 years of proven procurement experience, preferably in façade, aluminum systems, or architectural cladding industries.
Technical Knowledge
- Strong understanding of curtain wall systems, glazing materials, structural framing, and fabrication standards.
Systems Proficiency
- Hands-on experience with ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft Office Suite.
