About the Role:

We are looking to hire an experienced and highly ethical Procurement Manager to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in procurement, with a strong background in the construction and concrete manufacturing sectors, along with solid GCC market experience.

This role requires a professional with a well-established network of suppliers and contractors in the region, and a proven ability to manage procurement operations efficiently and transparently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company goals.
• Manage sourcing for construction projects and concrete products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers and contractors.
• Negotiate contracts and terms that deliver cost savings and ensure quality.
• Evaluate supplier performance and ensure adherence to specifications and timelines.
• Collaborate with technical, operational, and finance departments to meet procurement needs.
• Lead cost-reduction initiatives and streamline the supply chain.
• Ensure full compliance with procurement policies, legal standards, and ethical practices.
• Proactively manage risks and develop backup plans for supply chain continuity.
• Lead and guide the procurement team toward high performance and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or concrete manufacturing.
• GCC experience is essential; familiarity with the UAE and Dubai markets is a strong advantage.
• A strong network of reliable suppliers and contractors in the region.
• Excellent negotiation, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in procurement systems and reporting tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
• Up-to-date knowledge of market trends, pricing, and logistics.
