1. Sourcing and Vendor Management:
Identify and Evaluate Suppliers: Research and identify reliable vendors and suppliers for a wide range of interior materials, furniture, fixtures, lighting, accessories, and services (e.g., fabrication, Glass work, Painting, Tiles work, Gypsum, civil & complete interiors installation). This includes researching new products, materials, and technologies in the interior design market.
Build and Maintain Relationships: Develop and foster strong, long-term relationships with existing and new suppliers, contractors, and manufacturers to ensure consistent quality, favorable pricing, and reliable delivery.
Vendor Due Diligence: Conduct thorough due diligence on potential vendors, evaluating their capabilities, product quality, reliability, pricing, and ethical practices.
Supplier Diversity: Promote and maintain supplier diversity to ensure inclusivity and resilience in the supply chain.
2. Negotiation and Contract Management:
Request Proposals and Quotes (RFQs): Prepare and issue detailed RFQs to obtain competitive bids from multiple suppliers.
Negotiate Contracts: Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, warranties, and other contractual terms with suppliers to secure the best possible deals without compromising on quality or project timelines.
Contract Review and Management: Review and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and project specifications. Resolve Issues: Proactively resolve any supply, quality, service, or invoice discrepancies with vendors.
3. Project Coordination and Management:
Understand Project Needs: Collaborate closely with interior designers, project managers, and clients to understand their specific material and product requirements, design specifications, and budget constraints for each project.
Procurement Planning: Develop and implement procurement plans for each project, outlining timelines, budgets, and sourcing strategies. Order Processing: Prepare and process purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently, ensuring all specifications and terms are clearly documented.
Track and Monitor Orders: Track orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely arrival and coordinating with logistics teams, contractors, and storage facilities for seamless execution and installation.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and purchase needs, especially for commonly used or high-volume items, to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Budget Management: Create and monitor project budgets related to procurement, ensuring all purchases remain within allocated funds. Provide regular financial updates to project teams and senior leadership.
Quality Assurance: Ensure all procured materials and products meet the required quality standards and design specifications. Conduct quality checks as needed. Snagging and Close-out: Assist in the close-out of projects, including managing snagging issues and reconciling budgets.
4. Cost Optimization and Efficiency:
Cost-Saving Strategies: Identify and implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on quality or design intent. This involves analyzing spending patterns, exploring alternative materials, and negotiating favorable terms.
Value Engineering: Work with design and project teams to identify opportunities for value engineering – finding more cost-effective solutions that still meet aesthetic and functional requirements.
Process Improvement: Continuously review and optimize procurement practices and procedures to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline workflows. This may involve implementing new procurement software or systems.
5. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain Records: Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions, purchase orders, receipts, payments, and supplier information.
Generate Reports: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, including spend analysis, savings achieved, supplier performance, and budget adherence.
Database Management: Maintain and manage a comprehensive supplier database.
6. Skills and Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
Experience: Proven experience in procurement, preferably within the interior design, construction, or fit-out industry.
Strong Negotiation Skills: Excellent ability to negotiate favorable terms and conditions with suppliers.
Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
Organizational Skills: Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects and tight deadlines simultaneously.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to make data-driven decisions.
Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of interior design materials, finishes, furniture, and industry trends.
Proactive and Self-Motivated: Ability to anticipate needs, troubleshoot issues, and take initiative.

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per year
