Procurement Manager – Joinery & Interior Fit-Out

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with strong knowledge in Joinery and Interior Fit-Out works. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all purchasing activities, sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, coordinating deliveries, and ensuring materials are procured on time and within budget for ongoing projects and factory operations.

The candidate should have strong market knowledge in the UAE construction and fit-out industry and be capable of handling procurement for both site works and joinery production.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all procurement activities for:
• Joinery factory operations
• Interior fit-out projects
• Site materials
• Hardware and accessories
• MEP-related items
• Finishing materials
• Source and purchase:
• MDF, plywood, veneer, laminates, solid wood
• Hardware and ironmongery
• Paints, adhesives, and finishing materials
• Lighting fixtures
• Flooring materials
• Gypsum and ceiling materials
• Glass, metal, stone, and related materials
• Obtain quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Compare supplier quotations and prepare procurement reports.
• Coordinate with:
• Project managers
• Site engineers
• Joinery production team
• Designers and draftsmen
• Suppliers and subcontractors
• Ensure materials are delivered on time according to project schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with factory/store teams.
• Maintain supplier database and build strong supplier relationships.
• Ensure purchased materials meet project specifications and quality requirements.
• Track pending orders, deliveries, and material approvals.
• Assist management in cost control and budgeting.

Requirements

• Minimum 4–6 years experience in procurement for Joinery and Interior Fit-Out projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE suppliers and market pricing.
• Good understanding of:
• Joinery materials
• Interior finishing materials
• Construction processes
• Site requirements
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good experience in:
• Microsoft Excel
• Procurement tracking
• BOQs and material specifications
• Strong organizational and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a joinery factory and fit-out company.
• UAE driving license is preferred.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD drawings and material take-offs is an advantage.
