1. Educational Background
- Minimum Requirement: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
2. Relevant Experience
- Minimum Experience: 4–7 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Industry-Specific Experience: Must have worked in furniture, wood products, interiors, or related manufacturing sectors.
- Proven track record of cost reduction, vendor development, and contract negotiation.
- Experience in local procurement, inventory management, and logistics coordination preferred.
3. Job Knowledge and Expertise
- Strong knowledge of procurement cycles, inventory control, sourcing strategies, and vendor management.
- Understanding of wood, plywood, laminates, hardware, fittings, and other raw materials used in furniture/interior manufacturing.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Quickbooks etc.).
- Skilled in data analysis, budgeting, and cost-benefit analysis.
- Knowledge of local markets and suppliers, quality standards, and import regulations.
4. Other Requirements
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and procurement software.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (both verbal and written).
- Integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all procurement activities.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Valid driving license (if site or supplier visits are required).
- Willingness to travel for supplier audits, vendor development, and material inspection.
