Job Summary:

We are seeking a Procurement Officer with experience in construction materials and services procurement. The ideal candidate will handle sourcing, negotiation, purchase order management, vendor coordination, and timely delivery of materials and subcontracted services across multiple construction sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and source construction materials, equipment, and subcontractors as per project specifications.
• Prepare and float RFQs/RFPs to vendors and subcontractors.
• Evaluate vendor quotations, conduct comparative statements (CS), and negotiate prices and terms.
• Issue purchase orders and work orders in line with budget and project timelines.
• Maintain procurement trackers, material delivery schedules, and status reports.
• Liaise with project, engineering, planning, and stores teams for material planning and approvals.
• Develop and maintain a strong vendor database with updated price lists and lead times.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites and resolve any delivery or quality issues.
• Verify invoices and coordinate with accounts for timely vendor payments.
• Maintain compliance with quality standards, contract terms, and company procurement policies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce / related field.
• 1-3 years of procurement experience in the construction or infrastructure industry.
• Strong knowledge of civil, structural, MEP, finishing, or interior materials.
• Familiarity with local vendor market, logistics, and GST compliance.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel), AutoCAD (basic), and ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally, or BuildSmart).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
