Procurement Officer

We’re looking for a detail-driven Procurement Officer who can hit the ground running and drive end-to-end procurement operations with strong technical expertise. This role is critical in ensuring timely sourcing, cost-effective purchasing, and compliance with project requirements across civil, infrastructure, and general contracting works.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle procurement activities, including sourcing, RFQs, bid evaluation, negotiation, and PO issuance.
• Analyze project specifications and technical drawings to determine accurate material and service requirements.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships and develop a reliable supplier network within the UAE construction market.
• Ensure all procurement aligns with project timelines, cost targets, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and QA/QC for material approvals and delivery schedules.
• Monitor market trends, pricing, and availability to support proactive planning.
• Track and manage procurement logs, contracts, and documentation in line with company policies.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and cost optimization strategies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE-based procurement experience in construction or general contracting.
• Strong technical understanding of construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Proven negotiation, vendor management, and cost analysis skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Strong communication, time management, and stakeholder coordination abilities.
• Able to work under tight timelines and handle high-volume procurement.
