Procurement Officer Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized MEP procurement officer with minimum of 3-4 years experience in UAE market to oversee local purchases and develop new contracts. In this position, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for our organization. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming inventory, and be responsible for approving purchases.
Procurement Officer Duties and Responsibilities

  • Must have 3 to 4 years’ experience in UAE market as a MEP PROCUREMENT
  • Good knowledge about MEP materials with wide suppliers contacts
  • Must have good skill in MS EXCEL and MS OUTLOOK
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the procurement of high-quality materials and services at competitive prices.
  • Prepare project wise Purchase request log and continuous follow-up until issuing LPO
  • Coordinating with main store and site store for the excess materials
  • Responsible for sending inquiries, pricing and preparing comparison sheet
  • Preparation of subcontract agreements & co-ordinating with subcontractors to issue the subcontract
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of all procurement activities, including purchase orders, contracts, amendments, credit applications and supplier performance evaluations.
  • Submit timely suppliers statement of account, Payment request preparation, follow up with accounts, updating payment log
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Immediate joining or within 15 days.

Procurement Officer Requirements and Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, preferably with Equivalency Certificate.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policy, and systems
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • Goal-oriented, organized team player
  • Good knowledge about MEP materials
