Key ResponsibilitiesProcurement & Vendor Sourcing
- Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction and fit-out projects.
- Conduct market surveys and source qualified vendors locally and abroad.
- Evaluate suppliers based on cost, quality, delivery, and compliance with project specs.
Negotiation & Contracting
- Negotiate prices, terms, and contracts to secure the best commercial advantages.
- Ensure pricing aligns with project budgets and market rates.
- Prepare supplier/subcontractor contracts when required.
Supplier & Procurement Management
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure adherence to agreements and timelines.
- Maintain strong communication and follow-up with vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare comparison sheets and recommend the best quotations.
- Maintain all procurement records, logs, and documentation.
- Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and market updates.
Tendering
- Review tender documents and prepare the commercial section.
- Prepare BOQ costing, inquiry packages, and distribute documents to suppliers.
- Follow up on quotations and prepare cover letters with technical/commercial terms.
- Compile all final tender documents for easy reference.
Coordination & Compliance
- Coordinate with project managers and site teams to meet material requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and construction industry regulations.
Qualifications
- 1–5 years’ procurement experience in construction or building materials (local & international).
- Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficient in QuickBooks, Material Tracker, and MS Office.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of EPC, Civil, MEP, and Fit-Out materials.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
