Procurement Officer

Looking for Procurement Engineer with minimum experience of 3 years in UAE in construction industry

Core Responsibilities:

• Follow and ensure compliance with the Company's Procurement Policies and Procedures
• Comply with Procurement Schedules for the purchase of materials
• Coordinate transportation of materials to project sites
• Create and maintain good relationships with all vendors/suppliers
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply and pricing options to generate quote comparison sheets
• Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
• Obtain quotes from material suppliers, installers and other service providers
• Follow up on payments, delivery notes and invoices
• Ensure all purchased items are delivered in a timely manner
• Work with team members and Managers in order to fulfill job duties, as needed.

Skills and Qualifications

• Diploma in Purchasing / Procurement or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Procurement Engineer or a related position
• Experience in the construction industry
• Knowledge and understanding of procurement processes, policies and systems
