Procurement Officer

Arrak Consulting is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Procurement Officer to manage sourcing, purchasing, and supplier coordination during our night operations. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring smooth procurement processes, cost efficiency, and timely availability of goods and services, while coordinating with international vendors and teams.

Key Responsibilities

● Source and procure materials, goods, and services from local and international suppliers

● Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve best value

● Prepare and manage purchase orders, invoices, and procurement documentation

● Coordinate with international vendors across different time zones

● Monitor inventory levels and plan timely replenishment

● Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and budget guidelines

● Daily check product prices across different websites to identify cost-saving opportunities

● Resolve supplier issues related to quality, pricing, or delivery delays

● Collaborate with internal teams including finance, operations, and logistics

Requirements & Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field

● 1-2 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar purchasing role

● Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

● Strong knowledge of jewelry tools / display elements

● Hands-on experience and knowledge in sourcing and purchasing products via Alibaba, Ebay etc.

● Excellent communication and organizational abilities

● Proficiency in MS Office Google sheet (especially Excel) and procurement tools

● Ability to work independently during night shifts

● Willingness to travel internationally when required

Preferred Skills

● Experience handling international suppliers and imports

● Knowledge of logistics, shipping, and customs procedures

● Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
