Job Summary:
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, purchasing materials, equipment, and services required for company operations while ensuring cost efficiency, quality standards, and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and evaluate suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors.
- Obtain quotations and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and follow up on approvals.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material requirements with project teams.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials to project sites.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Compare supplier quotations and prepare cost analysis reports.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Ensure purchased items meet company specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with finance department regarding invoices and payment processing.
- Track market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of local suppliers and market pricing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Good organizational and analytical skills.
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per hour
