We are seeking a highly motivated, result-oriented, and data-driven Procurement Executive to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Review procurement documents and prepare orders
  • Develop and monitor cost-reduction strategies, inventory control procedures, purchasing policies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Manage vendors, collect quotations, negotiate contracts, meet with suppliers and monitor supplier performance
  • Understand, analyse, and evaluate enterprise-wide procurement requirements for products and services
  • Encourage continuous improvement in competitive bidding practices
  • Track and schedule all materials, equipment, and personnel purchase orders
  • Open new accounts as needed and maintain a vendor management system.
  • Track inventory levels and manage purchasing activities
  • Develop and maintain inventory control procedures
  • Manage claims and losses
  • Review supplier proposals, invoices and contracts.
  • Discuss and analyze material and equipment needs with architects and engineers
  • Track and report budgets by month, budget variance, and actual budget
  • Improve operations through process improvements
  • Develop and implement systems to monitor vendor performance
  • Document policies and procedures, Coordinate with staff, operations personnel, and outside agencies to ensure materials, equipment, and services are available when needed

Qualifications

  • Experience: preferably 1–2 years of proven experience as a Procurement Executive in hotel sector.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in any relevant field.
  • Written and Verbal Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Problem-Solving and Adaptability: Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities are needed to identify opportunities and address client needs effectively. Adaptability and willingness to learn new techniques and technologies as the hospitality sector evolves is necessary.
  • Time Management and Multitasking: Must be proficient in time management and multitasking to skillfully prioritise and manage various responsibilities and meet deadlines with efficiency.
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite is needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
