Procurement Officer – Interior Fit-Out, Joinery & Decoration

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our Interior Decoration, Joinery, and Fit-Out team. The ideal candidate must have 4–5 years of procurement experience specifically within the interior fit-out, joinery, and decoration industry. Candidates without relevant industry experience will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for fit-out and joinery projects.
• Obtain and compare quotations to ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
• Procure materials such as timber, veneers, laminates, hardware, glass, metal works, gypsum, paints, and other fit-out-related items.
• Coordinate with project managers, estimators, and site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and monitor order status to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain supplier databases and develop strong relationships with approved vendors.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to achieve project cost targets.
• Track material deliveries and resolve supply chain issues proactively.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
• Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and purchasing records.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–5 years of proven procurement experience in Interior Fit-Out, Joinery, and Decoration companies only.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out materials, joinery products, finishes, and subcontractor sourcing.
• Experience in supplier negotiation and contract management.
• Excellent knowledge of local market suppliers and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ERP/procurement systems.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple project requirements simultaneously.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED7,500.00 per month
