Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in interior design and fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring timely procurement to support project execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for interior and fit-out materials.
- Prepare and issue RFQs (Requests for Quotation) and analyze supplier proposals.
- Ensure cost-effective purchasing while maintaining quality standards.
- Manage procurement schedules in line with project timelines.
- Coordinate with project managers, designers, and site teams to understand material requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and track orders to ensure on-time delivery.
- Maintain updated records of purchase orders, contracts, and supplier agreements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual obligations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum [3] years of procurement experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of interior materials (joinery, gypsum, flooring, MEP-related materials, finishes, etc.).
- Excellent negotiation and cost analysis skills.
- Familiarity with local suppliers and market rates.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on commercial, retail, hospitality, or residential fit-out projects.
- Strong supplier network within the local market.
