Procurement Officer / Purchasing Coordinator

Job Description

Sistemas y Fluidos Qatar is looking for a detail-oriented Procurement Officer / Purchasing Coordinator to manage and optimize our procurement processes. The successful candidate will play a critical role in sourcing quality materials and services to support our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate procurement activities, including sourcing, negotiation, and purchase order issuance.
  • Evaluate suppliers and vendors to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and reports to optimize purchasing strategies.
  • Collaborate with various departments to align procurement needs with organizational goals.
  • Monitor market trends and pricing to inform procurement decisions.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in procurement or purchasing roles, preferably in an engineering or industrial environment.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary and Benefits

  • Hourly wage: 60 -* 110 QAR* (commensurate with experience).
