Procurement Officer / Purchasing Officer (Automotive background)

  • Sourcing Suppliers: Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers and vendors to find the best deals.
  • Negotiation: Negotiating prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with vendors to minimize costs.
  • Purchase Orders (POs): Creating and processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate records of transactions.
  • Market Analysis: Monitoring market trends and price fluctuations to ensure the company gets the best value.
  • Relationship Management: Building and maintaining long-term relationships with reliable suppliers.
  • Quality Control: Ensuring that the goods and services delivered meet the required quality standards.
  • Budgeting: Working closely with the finance department to ensure all purchases stay within the company's budget.
  • Inventory Coordination: Coordinating with the warehouse or inventory team to avoid overstocking or shortages.
  • Reporting: Preparing regular reports on costs, savings, and supplier performance.
