We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This role requires proficiency in various accounting software and a solid understanding of both corporate and public accounting practices.

Duties

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing, collections, and reconciliation of accounts.
• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, Xero, Sage, and others for efficient financial management.
• Conduct technical accounting tasks including double entry bookkeeping to maintain accurate financial records.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes.
• Assist in budgeting processes and forecasting financial trends.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
• Proven experience in public accounting or corporate accounting roles.
• Strong skills in financial report writing and analysis.
• Proficiency in accounting software including QuickBooks, Quicken, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of technical accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
