Procurement & Sourcing Executive (Cosmetic)

*Key Responsibilities*

** Procurement & Sourcing*

1. Source and procure primary packaging (bottles, jars, tubes, pumps, dispensers, closures), secondary packaging (cartons, labels, inserts), and tertiary packaging (shippers, corrugated boxes).

2. Identify and develop suppliers for cosmetic raw materials, fragrances, essential oils, and chemicals.

3. Negotiate price, payment terms, lead times, and contracts to ensure cost efficiency and reliability.

4. Build and maintain a strong vendor base for both domestic and international sourcing.

* *Vendor Management & Compliance*

1. Conduct vendor audits and evaluate suppliers based on quality, compliance, capacity, and service

2. Ensure compliance with cosmetic regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, ISO, BIS, etc.).

3. Maintain strong supplier relationships while ensuring continuous improvement in quality and cost.

* *Coordination & Operations*

1. Collaborate with R&D and NPD teams to support new product launches with innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.

2. Work with Quality Control to ensure incoming materials meet required specifications.

3. Coordinate with Production & Supply Chain to maintain adequate stock levels and avoid delays.

4. Track purchase orders, manage procurement MIS reports, and ensure on-time deliveries.

* *Market & Cost Management*

1. Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and packaging innovations.

2. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.

3. Research and suggest eco-friendly, sustainable, and modern packaging solutions to align with brand strategy.

*Qualifications & Skills*

1. Graduate/Postgraduate in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or related discipline (MBA preferred).

2. 3-4 years’ experience in procurement, preferably in cosmetics, personal care, FMCG, or packaging industries.

3. Strong knowledge of packaging materials, cosmetic raw ingredients, vendor landscape, and import procedures.

4. Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.

5. Proficiency in ERP systems, MS Excel, and procurement software.

6. Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

7. Ability to work cross-functionally with R&D, QC, Production, and Finance teams.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹600,000.00 per year
