We’re looking for a Buyer / Purchasing Specialist to join our procurement team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with basic purchasing knowledge who are eager to build their career in supply chain and procurement. The selected candidate will assist with purchasing operations, supplier coordination, and material follow-ups while utilizing SAP and adhering to established purchasing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, purchase, and negotiate materials, equipment, and supplies from approved suppliers.
  • Review and compare vendor quotations to determine the most reliable and cost-effective options.
  • Monitor and expedite material deliveries to ensure project schedules are met.
  • Keep detailed and organized records of purchase orders, supplier interactions, and transactions.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Adhere to company procurement policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist with onboarding and procurement-related administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • Some experience or coursework in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain functions.
  • Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP procurement systems is highly preferred.
  • Prior exposure to material expediting or vendor coordination is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
