Procurement Specialist

Main Goal

The main goal of the Procurement Specialist is finding goods and services for the company at the best value regarding quality and price, locating key suppliers, negotiating the company’s purchasing agreements and making sure their materials and products meet the company’s specifications.

Key responsibilities:

• Procure tools, equipment, and materials required for warehouse and field projects.
• Ensure all project resources are secured on time and within budget.
• Track procurement activity to support project schedules and financial goals.
• Maintain accurate purchase orders (POs) and transaction records in Moca’s internal ERP system.
• Collaborate with project managers and field leadership to align purchasing with operational needs.
• Source vendors, obtain competitive pricing, and manage supplier relationships as needed.
• Monitor expenses and provide procurement reports for project cost tracking.
• Coordinate travel and lodging for field teams.

Preferred qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience managing travel logistics (preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with ERP systems and purchase order processes (experience with PO entry preferred).
• High attention to detail and ability to manage budgets.
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate across teams.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience supporting field operations, construction, or logistics projects is a plus.
• Spanish is a must.
