As a Mid-Level Procurement Specialist, you will source and manage a wide range of products and services to support the on-time and in price and quality delivery of our projects, with an emphasis on negotiating competitive quotations.


The successful candidate will also handle escalation management for all items priced below $20,000. This position is pivotal in optimizing our procurement strategies and streamlining our supply chain process to ensure a seamless workflow in our organization.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute procurement activities including generating and managing purchase orders, monitoring order status, managing vendor relationships, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Evaluate and manage supplier quotations for a variety of goods and services, ensuring optimal pricing and quality.
  • Interact with engineering and project managers to collect requirements and restitute quotation results in a clear and effective manner.
  • Handle and resolve escalations related to items valued at less than $20,000 in a timely and professional manner.
  • Analyze market and supplier base to assess present and future products availability and develop strategies to meet the organization's supply needs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient purchase of goods and services.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and vendors, fostering an environment of effective communication and mutual trust.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes, including ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in procurement or a similar role, ideally within a fast-paced corporate setting.
  • Proven ability in supplier management, including negotiating contracts and pricing.
  • Proficient in using procurement software and tools, with a good understanding of supply chain procedures.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with an attention to detail.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.


Preferred Qualifications:

Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement
