Procurement / Supply Chain Specialist
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in
Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain
, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Typically requires
5+ years of experience
in
negotiation and purchasing
.

Strong knowledge of
financial analysis, activity-based costing, and supply chain methodology
.

Proven ability to build and maintain
positive relationships
with customers and suppliers.

Skilled in
gathering client requirements
and negotiating supplier support agreements.
Key Responsibilities:
-
Assist in
negotiating pricing, contract terms, and conditions
; prepare contractual documents and binding agreements.

Integrate
program, customer, product, and in-service strategies
into source selection, negotiation, and contract strategies.
-
Develop
procurement solutions
that align with customer needs, program goals, and company objectives.
-
Support senior procurement agents with
project management
activities and supplier coordination.
-
Develop and deploy
supplier strategies and production control improvement plans
.
-
Support
hardware development
from engineering definition through certification, tooling, first article development, and buyoff.
-
Assess and monitor
supplier capacity
, production readiness, and performance, including sub-tier suppliers.
-
Conduct
supplier risk assessments
and performance reviews; lead cross-functional improvement initiatives.

Contribute to
process improvements
and
cost reduction initiatives
across the supply chain.

Perform
root cause analysis
and develop mitigation plans to address risks and ensure timely resolution.

Utilize
project management tools
to analyze and manage supplier performance (technical, quality, cost, and schedule).

Maintain strong working relationships with
internal stakeholders and external suppliers
to ensure alignment and delivery success
