Key responsibilities
- Lead supplier selection, performance management, and cross-functional supplier development to support external development of spaceflight systems.
- Draft, issue and evaluate RFPs/RFQs; perform price and risk analyses to support proposals and negotiation strategy.
- Structure and negotiate multiple contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF/CPIF) and establish Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) and sourcing partnerships.
- Own the procurement lifecycle from requisition through PO issuance to final invoice/payment and vendor dispute resolution.
- Track and report program procurement metrics; drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Ensure purchased hardware and materials meet specifications, source-control drawings, and AS9100 quality expectations.
- Support corporate procurement strategy and ensure procurement activities align with program and corporate objectives.
Required qualifications
- 5+ years procurement/supplier management experience (space/aerospace or related highly desirable).
- Familiarity with FAR and experience negotiating/managing FFP, T&M and cost-type contracts.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines in ambiguous environments.
- Strong analytical, data-driven decision making and experience establishing/tracking program metrics.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Working understanding of AS9100 and engineering data (specifications, BOMs, source control drawings).
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
