Procurement Specialist

Nature of Business: Export Trading Company operating from Thane, Mumbai.

Products: Pharma Ingredients. (APIs-human and veterinary, Drug Intermediates, Herbals

and Phyto Chemicals, Excipients)

Functional Area: Export Business Development & Sourcing (Local vendor development)

Positions available : Sr. Executive / Dy. Manager

Job Description:

• Identifying reliable local manufacturers and suppliers for all types of Ingredients

including Human APIs, Veterinary APIs, Intermediates, Herbal Extracts, Enzymes

• Develop and implement sourcing strategies and a org-wide database for APIs and

Excipients, considering factors such as quality, cost, lead time, and regulatory

compliance.

• Planning deliveries & dispatches and co-ordination with the Logistics department for

the same.

• Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers for the procurement of APIs and

Excipients.

• Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best

prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the customers requirements

and expectation

• Manage supplier relationships and ensure timely delivery of materials.

• Remuneration will be commensurate with experience and in line with market

standards.

Candidate Profile:

• Male / Female candidates preferably Science / Pharmacy graduates with at least 3

years’ experience (for Sr. Executive) / 5 years’ experience for (Dy. Manager)

• Strong track record of sourcing APIs, Intermediates, Herbals and Phyto Chemicals,

and Excipients paired with an ability to keep track of new and emerging products

and manufacturers

• developing new export markets, having good connections with overseas customers

& with domestic API manufacturers. Quick to spot business opportunities for value

creation and a disciplined executor.

• Strong analytical skills and negotiation skills to optimize revenue and profitability.

Ability to build and manage good relations with vendors.

• Confident, enthusiastic, self-starter, well organised, and result oriented with good

command over English language.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
