Procurement Specialist

Summary:

The Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for monitoring product and raw material requirements, purchasing and maintaining raw material inventory, and supporting all related database functions. This role manages OEM and custom product orders, maintains product costing, and ensures accuracy within the ERP system (IQMS). The position plays a key role in supporting manufacturing, engineering, and sales through accurate data, reporting, and coordination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: (others may be assigned)

• Monitors raw material inventory
• Writes raw material purchase requests
• Creates, issues and follows up on purchase orders
• Produce quarterly inventory accounting reports
• Maintains ERP (IQMS) databases for Inventory, Mfg. Cost Acct. Bill of Materials, Stand Product.
• Setup and maintain BOM’s, routings, locations, inventory transactions, costing and product master(s).
• Coordinates OEM and custom products; customer contact, reviews product requirements, maintains files and specifications, coordinates with engineering, sales and manufacturing, maintains the database, generates labels and certificate of compliances, maintains inventory levels and enters orders.
• Generates and maintains OEM Open Report
• Monitors and controls some resale products
• Presents and prepares reports for manufacturing management review
• Assists in manufacturing with various clerical responsibilities
• Label Generator
