Procurement Specialist – Semiconductor Projects

We’re seeking a Procurement Specialist with proven experience in semiconductor facility projects to support procurement planning, vendor coordination, and equipment delivery on a major high-tech project in Chandler. This role is critical in ensuring timely and accurate procurement across multiple technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

As a Procurement Specialist, you’ll play a central role in managing early-stage procurement activities and vendor relationships. You will:

• Liaise with design, project management, construction, and commissioning teams to define equipment and procurement needs
• Confirm equipment specifications, gather supporting documentation, and ensure alignment with design and commissioning requirements
• Manage bid processes, vendor qualification (SSJs), and procurement planning based on risk and lead times
• Engage vendors to obtain pricing, technical submittals, CDEs, and delivery commitments
• Present procurement status updates and cost summaries to the client
• Coordinate submittal tracking and interface with estimating and scheduling teams
• Lead weekly procurement meetings and vendor coordination calls
• Support resolution of design changes, owner notices, and scope adjustments
• Maintain accurate status tracking for all procurement-related activities

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience in procurement coordination on semiconductor or other mission-critical construction projects
• Strong understanding of equipment specifications, vendor engagement, and submittal workflows
• Ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and suppliers
• Highly organized with excellent communication and documentation skills
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
