Job Purpose
To develop and implement procurement plans for food materials and products in alignment with all policies and procedures. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality materials are delivered on time and at optimal cost, identifying new suppliers, managing costs, improving procurement efficiency, and ensuring compliance with all related standards. It also involves planning and follow-up to ensure the best performance of the supply chain.
Duties and Responsibilities

Comply with all procurement policies and supervise the implementation based on local and international best practices.

Prepare procurement plans for food materials to ensure continuous availability without interruption.

Prepare purchase requests according to actual needs and coordinate with relevant departments.

Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices, quality, and payment terms.

Follow up on purchase orders and ensure timely delivery.

Monitor supplier performance and prepare reports for management decision-making.

Conduct market studies and report price fluctuations and challenges.

Manage supplier contracts and agreements, including renewal or amendments when needed.

Review supplier invoices to ensure compliance with contracts and purchase orders.

Prepare procurement reports and submit them to management.

Prepare periodic reports on procurement performance and supplier evaluations.

Conduct periodic analysis of food product prices to ensure optimum financial value.

Apply all quality and safety standards (ISO 9001 / ISO 22000 / ISO 45001 / ISO 14001).
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field.

Certifications

International professional purchasing certification such as CIPM.

4 to 7 years of experience in a similar role.
