Procurement Specialist

PerJob Title: Procurement Specialist Location: Remote Job Job Type: Full-time/Part-time Department: Procurement / Supply Chain Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, purchasing, and vendor relationships. The role involves ensuring timely procurement of quality goods and services at the best possible cost while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement procurement strategies to support organizational goals. Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms. Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and related documentation. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal departments to forecast demand. Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while ensuring supplier performance meets quality and delivery standards. Analyze market trends, identify cost-saving opportunities, and mitigate supply risks. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. Collaborate with finance and operations teams to reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies. Generate reports on procurement activities and provide recommendations for continuous improvement. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Proven experience as a Procurement Specialist, Buyer, or similar role. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Proficiency in procurement software, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques, as well as market analysis. High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
