Procurement Specialist

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to join our team and drive our procurement processes forward. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing materials, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the seamless flow of goods and services across our supply chain. Your expertise will help optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and support manufacturing operations. Duties

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify reliable suppliers and secure competitive pricing for goods and services
• Manage procurement activities within ERP systems such as SAP and Oracle EBS, ensuring accurate purchase orders, requisitions, and inventory control
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to maximize value while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management to forecast needs and streamline procurement processes
• Monitor supplier performance through vendor management programs, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and quality expectations
• Oversee procurement documentation, including contracts, purchase agreements, and supply chain records
• Coordinate logistics and transportation arrangements to ensure timely delivery of materials while optimizing costs

Experience

• experience in procurement management within a manufacturing or supply chain environment
• Strong knowledge of ordering processes.
• Familiarity with systems to align purchasing with production schedules
• Demonstrated ability in sourcing, contract negotiation, and vendor management practices
• Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable terms while fostering positive supplier relationships

• Understanding of inventory management principles including inventory control and supply chain optimization
• Prior experience working with logistics providers and managing supply chain disruptions is a plus

Pay: $52,568.46 - $63,308.26 per year
