Responsibilities:
- Negotiating the best price for goods and services to be used by the company.
- Maintaining excellent relationships with their supply chain and driving cost efficiency throughout the business.
- Developing and implementing procurement policies and procedures.
- Identifying and assessing potential suppliers and negotiating contracts.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Managing the procurement budget and ensuring cost-effectiveness.
- Overseeing the purchasing process, including requisition, purchase order, and invoice approval.
- Managing the inventory and storage of purchased goods.
- Collaborating with other departments.
