Procurement Specialist

Procurement Specialist | System Technique | Abu Rawash, Giza

We have a spot open on our procurement team and we're looking for the right person to fill it.

About the Role Full-time, on-site in Abu Rawash, Giza. Candidates residing in Giza, 6th of October, or El Sheikh Zayed are preferred. You'll handle the full procurement cycle, from requesting quotes and negotiating terms, to issuing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and making sure the quality of what comes in actually meets the bar. You'll also contribute to reporting and suggest improvements to keep the department running smoothly.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing proposals, requesting quotes, and negotiating purchase terms
• Issuing purchase orders and agreements
• Monitoring supplier performance and resolving any issues that come up
• Inspecting and evaluating the quality of purchased items
• Submitting weekly and monthly reports to the Purchasing Manager
• Supporting the department with improvement and corrective action suggestions

What we're looking for:

• 1–5 years in procurement or purchasing
• Solid knowledge of purchasing strategies and supplier management
• Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP or procurement systems
• Bachelor's in business, supply chain, or a related field (preferred)

Water treatment or industrial background is a plus
