Role Description

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement operations across all Cheeky Monkeys locations by sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, ensuring timely purchasing activities, and maintaining cost efficiency while adhering to company standards. The role supports uninterrupted operations through effective procurement planning, inventory coordination, vendor management, and compliance with internal controls and approved budgets

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

1. Procurement Operations

  • Source and procure goods and services in line with operational requirements and approved purchase requests.
  • Obtain quotations, negotiate pricing, and evaluate supplier proposals.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with internal approval workflows.
  • Ensure timely delivery and availability of operational supplies.

2. Vendor Management

  • Maintain relationships with approved vendors and identify new supplier opportunities.
  • Support vendor onboarding and maintain supplier documentation.
  • Monitor supplier performance in terms of pricing, quality, and service levels.
  • Coordinate issue resolution relating to shortages, delays, damages, or quality concerns.

3. Cost Control & Budget Support

  • Support procurement cost optimization initiatives and identify savings opportunities.
  • Ensure purchases remain aligned with approved procurement budgets.
  • Track spend trends and highlight risks or opportunities for management review.
  • Support procurement reporting and budget monitoring activities.

4. Inventory & Coordination

  • Coordinate with stores and departments to ensure adequate stock availability.
  • Support inventory planning and replenishment processes.
  • Monitor stock movement and reduce unnecessary overstocking and emergency purchases.
  • Coordinate with Logistics for timely distribution across locations.

5. Documentation & Compliance

  • Maintain accurate procurement records including quotations, purchase orders, contracts, and delivery documentation.
  • Ensure procurement activities comply with company SOPs and internal controls.
  • Support procurement audits and corrective action initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with UAE regulations and company policies.

6. Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare procurement reports and dashboards for management.
  • Maintain procurement trackers and purchasing records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
  • Support procurement system implementation and optimization initiatives.

Educational Qualifications & Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree is mandatory (Copy of the documents needs to be submitted as a part of hiring process).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in procurement operations within UAE.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in vendor management is required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
