Procurement Specialist

Job Purpose:

Support procurement activities by coordinating sourcing, supplier follow-up, purchasing execution, and commercial documentation to ensure timely, cost-effective, and quality-compliant delivery of materials and services for manufacturing and operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Procurement, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, or supply chain support.
  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/procurement systems.
  • Good command of English (Arabic is a plus).
  • Professional certifications in procurement or supply chain are an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support execution of procurement activities including RFQs, comparisons, and purchase orders.
  • Follow up with suppliers on quotations, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Prepare commercial comparison sheets and support supplier evaluation.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and ensure audit-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (planning, production, warehouse, quality, finance).
  • Track procurement status, highlight delays, and support performance reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and HSE requirements.
