Procurement Specialist – High Rise and Villa Construction (Mandarin Speaking)

Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to manage procurement activities for construction and engineering projects in Dubai. The role involves sourcing, negotiating, and coordinating suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment, cost efficiency, and compliance with project requirements. Mandarin-speaking candidates with UAE experience are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for construction materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
• Coordinate with project, design, and engineering teams to understand material and technical requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance for quality, delivery, and compliance; implement corrective actions as needed.
• Track procurement schedules to ensure on-time delivery for project execution.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement transactions, approvals, and vendor communications.
• Assist project teams with documentation, submittals, and follow-ups on material approvals.
• Support budgeting, cost tracking, and payment processing in coordination with finance.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 7+ years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, supplier evaluation, and contract administration.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with procurement software and AutoCAD is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin is mandatory.
• Proven ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
