Procurement Specialist – Landscaping & Horticulture

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with a strong background in landscaping, horticulture, irrigation, and outdoor project materials to manage sourcing, vendor relationships, and purchasing operations for large-scale landscaping and horticultural projects.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience procuring plants, trees, soil, fertilizers, irrigation systems, landscaping materials, outdoor structures, and related services. This role requires deep knowledge of the regional supplier market, cost optimization, and the operational requirements of high-volume landscaping environments.

The Procurement Specialist will work closely with operations, horticulture, engineering, and project teams to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of all landscaping and garden-related materials and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end procurement of landscaping, horticulture, irrigation, and garden infrastructure materials.
• Source and evaluate suppliers for plants, trees, flowers, fertilizers, soil media, irrigation components, landscaping materials, and outdoor structures.
• Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contract terms with suppliers to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Develop and maintain a strong network of regional and international suppliers for horticulture and landscaping products.
• Coordinate procurement planning with operations, horticulture, and project teams to support ongoing landscaping activities and seasonal requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of critical materials.
• Prepare purchase orders, maintain procurement documentation, and track supplier performance.
• Conduct market research to identify new vendors, innovative materials, and cost-effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and UAE regulations.
• Support budgeting and cost control for landscaping and horticultural projects.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Agriculture, Horticulture, Landscaping, or a related field.
• 5+ years of procurement experience specifically within landscaping, horticulture, nursery operations, or outdoor construction.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping materials, irrigation systems, plant sourcing, soil media, fertilizers, and outdoor infrastructure.
• Experience working with nurseries, horticulture suppliers, irrigation vendors, and landscaping contractors.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Familiarity with procurement systems and ERP platforms.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple procurement streams in a fast-paced operational environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting large-scale landscaping installations or garden operations.
• Knowledge of seasonal plant procurement and horticulture supply cycles.
• Existing supplier network within the UAE and GCC landscaping market.
