Job Title: Packaging & Store Executive

Experience Required: 1–5 years’ experience in manufacturing, packaging, stores, or inventory preferred.

Department: Production / Supply Chain / Operations

Reporting To: Production Manager / Operations Manager / Supply Chain Manager

Work Mode: Work From Office

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Salary: Up to ₹25,000 per month

Job Summary:

The Packaging & Stores Executive is responsible for coordinating packaging material printing, managing vendor follow-ups, ensuring timely availability of packaging materials, and maintaining accurate inventory of packaging and related materials. This role ensures smooth production operations by maintaining proper stock levels and coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Packaging Coordination

  • Coordinate with vendors for printing of packaging materials such as labels, boxes, stickers, pouches, and other packaging components.
  • Follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery of packaging materials.
  • Verify packaging material specifications including size, material, artwork, and print quality.
  • Coordinate with production and design teams for packaging requirements.
  • Vendor Management
  • Maintain relationships with packaging material vendors and printers.
  • Request quotations and compare vendor pricing when required.
  • Track order status and ensure timely dispatch and delivery.
  • Resolve issues related to printing quality, delays, or incorrect materials.

Inventory & Stores Management

  • Maintain accurate inventory records of packaging and related materials.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure minimum stock levels are maintained.
  • Issue packaging materials to production as per requirement.
  • Perform regular physical stock verification.
  • Maintain proper storage and organization of materials.
  • Documentation & Reporting
  • Maintain purchase, stock, and usage records.
  • Update inventory reports regularly.
  • Coordinate with accounts and procurement for documentation.
  • Maintain vendor records and order history.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Commerce, or related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of packaging materials and printing processes
  • Inventory management skills
  • Vendor coordination and follow-up skills
  • Basic computer knowledge (Excel, ERP systems preferred)
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail

Preferred Knowledge:

  • Packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, labels, flexible packaging, etc.
  • Printing methods like offset, digital, and flexographic printing
  • ERP or inventory management systems
