Procurrement Engineer- Solar

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard vendors for solar modules, inverters, structures, cables, BOS items, etc.
• Request quotations, compare techno-commercial offers, and prepare cost analysis sheets.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery to project sites.
• Coordinate with engineering and planning teams for material specifications.
• Maintain procurement tracker, vendor database, and MIS reports.
• Handle logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and documentation.
• Ensure quality checks as per project standards.
• Support in project budgeting and BOQ finalization.
• Resolve procurement delays, shortages, or material quality issues.

Skills & Requirements:

• Knowledge of solar components, EPC procurement, and supply chain processes.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and ERP systems.
• Understanding of BOQ, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualification:

• B.Tech / Diploma (Electrical, Mechanical, or related field preferred).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per year
