Produce Clerk

Mariposa Market is hiring a produce clerk. We are looking for serious, hard working, team players.

***MUST BE AVAILABLE EVENINGS AND WEEKENDS***

The ideal candidate should:

• Show up to work on time, ready to work.
• Be comfortable handling produce.
• give excellent customer service.
• team player - must work well in a team and independently.
• Fills in for peers and supervisors when necessary.
• Listens to customer concerns and resolves problems to restore and promote good public relations.
• Ensures proper prepping, stocking, and rotating of produce.
• Cleans all appropriate areas in the produce department.
• Washes produce.
• Sets up displays.
• Sorts produce to look for spoils and imperfections.
• Maintain constant communication with supervisor in the produce department to ensure that everybody is updated on pertinent information & is aware of any changes.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
