Duties

• Stock, organize, and maintain produce displays to ensure freshness and visual appeal
• Manage inventory levels using RF scanners and inventory control systems to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Load and unload shipments efficiently using pallet jacks and forklifts, ensuring proper handling of produce items
• Assist customers with product questions, provide recommendations, and promote sales through excellent customer service
• Perform regular cleaning, maintenance, and packaging of produce to uphold safety standards and quality assurance
• Support shipping & receiving processes by accurately documenting inbound and outbound deliveries
• Implement merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales opportunities

Qualifications

• Previous experience in grocery stores, retail sales, or warehouse environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory effectively using inventory management tools and RF scanners
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the shift
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers
• Familiarity with warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is advantageous; certification preferred but not mandatory
• Knowledge of retail math for pricing, stocking, and sales calculations is beneficial
• Demonstrated attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness, safety standards, and product presentation
